Our Year 7 & Year 12 Settling In Evening is being held on Tuesday 15 September via our online platform - SchoolCloud.

We are holding our Year 11 Expectations Evening in school on Thursday 24 September 2026 at 5.30 pm.  Please use the side pupil entrance to sign in from 5.15 pm. 

We are holding our Year 10 Expectations Evening in school on Thursday 10 September from 5.30 pm - 6.30 pm.  Doors will open at 5.15 pm via the side pupils entrance.

The Autumn Term starts for all pupils on Wednesday 2 September 2026.  Doors open at 8.30 am and all pupil should be in school no later than 8.50 am.

Pupils can collect their GCSE exam results from school on Thursday 20 August 2026. Simply arrive at the pupil entrance between 9.00 am and 11.00am.

Pupils can collect their A Level and BTEC exam results from school on Thursday 13 August 2026. Simply arrive at the pupil entrance between 9.00 am and 11.00 am.

We held a fantastic Summer Concert in school where our pupils performed in bands, ensembles, choir and solos.  

Our Year 9/10 Sports Day is taking place on Tuesday 14 July 2026.

On Friday 10 July we are holding our annual World of Work morning in school where employers will be undertaking `Mock Interviews' with our pupils.

Thank you to the group of pupils who helped Ian from Lowther Forestry Group create a new path making the school garden easier to access all year round. We welcomed Newcastle Building Society into school to deliver a financial presentation to our Year 8 pupils as part of `My Money Week'.

Our annual Castlerigg Residential Trip is taking place from Monday 6 - Friday 10 July 2026.

Our Year 5 Open Evening is taking place on Thursday 25 June from 4.30 pm - 6.30 pm. If you have a child currently in year 5 then please come along, no appointment necessary.
