The Rt Rev Paul Swarbrick visited the school on Friday 22 October 2021 to commemorate the official opening of St John Henry Newman School with the celebration of Holy Mass in joy and thanksgiving to Almighty God and in hope of grace and future blessings.

Congratulations to Olivia Dembinska in 7API for competing in the British Youth Sailing Regional Junior Championships at the weekend on Derwent reservoir. She came in sixth place overall, but was first female finisher.
