Pilgrim Photography were in school on the first day of term and have taken Year 7 individual photographs. The proofs have been sent home with your child. If you would like to place an order then please complete the enclosed form and payment in the envelope provided and hand in at school reception.

On Wednesday 10 July the Year 10's took part in a Preparing for Work Day. As part of the day's events students had a ten minute interview with an employer and spend time working on writing CV's and planning next steps.
Year 7/8 Sports Day in on Thursday 11 July and Year 9/10 is on Monday 8 July 2019.
Students from all year groups are packed up and off on the school's annual retreat to Castlerigg Manor this week.
As part of a new curriculum competition, Mrs Graham in the English Department asked her English classes to write an Oath entry for the Cumbria School Games competition and we are delighted to announce that Evie Davidson, Year 8 has been announced as a winner. Mrs Graham and Evie have been invited to a VIP experience at the Summer Games Final where...
Congratulations to the KS3 students who have won the first round of the English department Spelling Bee 2019. In the next round the students will have a 'spell off' with the other winners from their year group. If they are successful, they will go through to the final round.
We would like to wish all of the students the best of luck as they starts their exams on Monday 13 May 2019. Please arrive to the exams on time and with the correct equipment.
The Year 12's are visiting the UCAS Fair where they will have the opportunity to join UCAS experts, university and college representatives and industry professionals at this unique event. There will be inspirational talks, seminars and a chance to chat through the application process.

Next year we will be offering Year 8 and 9 students the opportunity to attend a retreat at Castlerigg Manor from Monday 29 June to Friday 3 July 2020.
