The Panathlon Ten Pin Bowling event at AMF Bowling

On Wednesday 14 January saw Mrs Clapperton, Miss Ord and Mrs Burns took 12 pupils to represent the school at The Panathlon Ten Pin Bowling event at AMF Bowling. 20 teams from various schools from around the city/north of the county battled it out in a tense and exciting competition.  Newman A team narrowly missed being placed in the top 3 but worked really well together, encouraging and assisting each other the whole time.

Newman B team came away winners of the competition and were awarded gold medals and the 2025/26 Panathlon Ten Pin Bowling trophy. They worked well as a team, with 4 of the team being awarded a club 100 certificate. (Individual score over 100 points).

A huge well done to everyone who took part, what an achievement. Next round is representing Cumbria in May.
