On Wednesday 10 July the Year 10's took part in a Preparing for Work Day.  As part of the day's events students had a ten minute interview with an employer and spend time working on writing CV's and planning next steps.  

The Vatican announced on Monday that Blessed Cardinal John Henry Newman will be canonized on October 13 in Rome. Miss Nichol and the school gardening club releasing the butterflies. It has been such a lovely project for the students to be involved with over the past few weeks watching the caterpillars turn into butterflies. 

Well done to the group of Year 8 boys who represented the school in a Carlisle schools hardball cricket competition on Friday.
