 The winners of the National Poetry Day competition for 2021 were Samanta in first place and Fergus in second both from Year 8, followed by Sheila from Year 12 in third place. Congratulations to everyone who took part.

A Level biology pupils had a successful Fieldtrip to Mawbray Banks nature reserve near Allonby to study sand dune succession. This area of special scientific interested also includes a preserved 8000 year old forest, endangered species and remains of world war II operational signs and conservation cattle.

The fire crew from Carlisle East & Carlisle West, attended our school  to carry out road awareness training to the Sixth Form pupils , highlighting the dangers on our roads to new and future drivers.
