Bursar

Permanent contract
Full time, full year (term time only and hours are negotiable)
OS15 £40,578 to £41,591 (following a successful 6 month probation period)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and self-motivated person to manage school finances, premises and human resources.

You will play a key role within school, reporting to the Headteacher and school governors on the management of finances, premises, human resources and health and safety matters.

The successful candidate will have experience in the following:

•       managing financial systems
•       monitoring budgets alongside senior management
•       advising key stake holders on financial matters and preparing high level reports
•       premises and facilities management
•       health & safety and risk assessments
•       Human Resource Management

Current working hours are:

Monday to Thursday      8.30am – 4.30pm
Friday                  8.30am – 4.00pm

Head of Religious Education

Full time

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and innovative person with drive to inspire our pupils in this popular subject. Religious Education is taught to all pupils at GCSE with Religious Studies, Philosophy and Ethics taught at A-level.

  The successful candidate will:
•       have a strong personal faith which will nurture and promote our school’s distinctive Catholic ethos and be able to provide evidence of being baptised and       practising Catholic

•       ensure that all pupils are valued as individuals

•       have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with pupils, parents and staff

•       be an outstanding practitioner with high expectations of pupils achievement and behaviour

•       commit to maintaining and further developing partnerships between our school, parents, parishes and the wider community

This post should be seen as a stepping-stone to a future senior leadership position.

Cover Supervisor

As a Cover Supervisor, your role will involve delivering pre planned lessons in the absence of the teacher. The main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that pupils remain on task with the work they have been set. This position is part time and term time only. Applicants need to be flexible with working hours. Full training will be provided.
