In support of World Mental Health Day all our pupils were given a yellow ribbon to wear. It is lovely to see pupils engaging in conversations and supporting each other in school.
On Wednesday 9 October our Year 7 pupils celebrated the Feast Day of St John Henry Newman with a special Mass led by Fr Luiz Ruscillo. Special thanks to our school choir who sang beautifully.
We welcomed members of staff from the Armed Forces Careers Office today in school. They held a drop in session in the LRC where our pupils could come and talk about the different careers available. Pupils also took part in a quiz and we were very impressed with their engagement and questioning.
This morning we welcomed Year 5's from St Margaret Mary's, St Bede's and St Cuthbert's Catholic Primary Schools. The pupils took part in a carousel of workshops including Spanish, English and DT. We hope everyone had a great morning and special thanks to our Year 8 pupil guides for their help.

At our end of term rewards assembly, Year 7 pupils were given awards for 100% attendance, good behaviour, number of achievement points and 3 pupils were awarded Head of Year Awards and received a £50 voucher for their outstanding efforts in all areas.
