The Year 7 In School Parents' Evening will be taking place on Tuesday 13 May 2025 from 4.30 pm - 7.00 pm.  Letters have been sent to parents/carers with information on how to book appointments via our online platform - SchoolCloud.

There will be a catch up session in school for Years 9, 10 and 11 for the DTP & Men ACWY immunisations.

The Year 9 Guided Choices Evening is taking place in school on Tuesday 4 February 2025 from 4.30 pm - 6.30 pm.  There will be a presentation for families, one at 4.45 pm and this will be repeated at 5.30 pm.  Please sign in from 4.20 om, using the pupils entrance. 

The Year 10 In School Parents' Evening is on Tuesday 4 March 2025 from 4.30 pm - 7.00 pm. Appointments can be made via our online platform SchoolCloud.

Our annual School Carol Service is taking place on Wednesday 18 December 2024 at 6.00 pm - 7.00 pm.  Refreshments will be served in the Parish Hall after the Service.

On Monday 16 December all Year 11 pupils will take part in a Next Steps Education Event morning.  Letters have been emailed to parents with the details.  Pupils will be split into 3 groups and either attend the Sixth Form morning, Carlisle College or Apprenticeship session.

Christmas lunch will be served in the San Lorenzo Restaurant on Wednesday 11 December 2024. There will be a selection of sandwiches on this day but no other options, so if your child chooses not to have this option then please bring a packed lunch. Our School Choir are taking part in the Gabrieli ROAR Choir Rehearsal and Performance at Carlisle Cathedral on Wednesday 4 December 2024.  Tickets are still available here : https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/gabrieli/t-lnongad and they will also be available via the Carlisle Cathedral and Gabrieli website.

On Monday 2 December our Year 10 GCSE Catering Pupils will be visiting the Smiths Hotel in Gretna to take part in a  Hospitality Experience Day.

The Year 9 Online Parents' Evening will be taking place via our online platform `SchoolCloud' on Tuesday 3 December 2024 from 4.30 pm - 7.00 pm.

On Tuesday 26 November a group of Year 8 Pupils will be visiting the Theatre by the Lake to watch an adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's the Jungle Book.

Our Sixth Form Open Evening is being held in school on Tuesday 12 November 2024 from 4.30 pm - 7.00 pm. 

The half term holiday is from Monday 28 October - Friday 1 November 2024.  All pupils will return to school on Monday 4 November at 8.50 am.

On Thursday 24 October a group of Year 9 and 10 pupils will be visiting the British Music Experience in Liverpool.

 The Year 11 GCSE Geography Field Trips to Silloth are taking place on Monday  21 and Tuesday 22 October 2024.

On Thursday 17 October we are holding a Whole School Careers Fair where a number of local employers will be attending and pupils will visit the Fair throughout the School day. 

As part of the English GCSE curriculum, pupils study Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.  A  group of Year 10 pupils are attending the Theatre by the Lake on Thursday 17 October to watch the theatre production.
