Our Year 10 Computer Scientists attended Carlisle College to take part in a digital workshop session.The college tutors were extremely impressed by the group's knowledge and positive attitude throughout the afternoon. Pupils engaged in discussions and demonstrated a genuine interest in the topics covered.The workshop provided a fantastic hands-on experience starting the session in the E-sports classroom, enjoying some gaming before taking part in a range of digital activities.
They explored digital forensics by searching a hard drive for evidence, learned about computer hardware by dismantling a PC and identifying its components and then successfully rebuilt it using specialist tools.It was a really worthwhile visit, offering valuable insight into further education opportunities and careers within the growing digital sector.
