We are running a school Readathon to raise money for the library in our new school and would love your child to join in.
For the Readathon, we would like our students to read six books over twelve weeks from 18 November 2019 – 10 February 2020.This approach will inspire the most reluctant readers to give reading a go, and encourage keen readers to read more widely. Students can choose whatever they want to read at home or in our well-stocked library, from comics to classics and audio books to blogs; it is all about reading for fun. Students will be motivated to read because the money they raise in sponsorship helps to provide brand new books and equipment for our new school library. Letters and sponsor forms have been posted home to all students in years 7-10. Mrs Jones, LRC Assistant.
