The PE department held a Sports Awards Evening last week recognising the efforts of students in Core PE, after school practices and inter school fixtures and events. There were a number of students who were individual winners for most committed, most improved, best all round performer and outstanding achievement. In addition to this team success was recognised along with awards for GCSE PE. The final award of the evening was a sports personality award given to Ryan Abba who has contributed so much to school sport in his time at Newman Catholic School.
