An amazing day was had by our Year 8's on a visit to Newcastle's Life Science centre. The pupils enjoyed all the exhibits including a visit to the International Space Station, a virtual tour of the solar system in the planetarium, investigating Climate change with some experiments in the lab, broadcasting the news and off course checking out the Lego exhibit!
Lots of fun and interactive activities kept everyone busy as part of celebrating National Science week!
A big thank you to the staff and sixth formers who made the day possible.
We are already looking forward to visiting again next year!
